SPI Pharma is part of Associated British Foods (ABF), under ABF Ingredients (ABFI) division, which comprises several pharmaceutical, personal care and food ingredient companies, each operating independently under own brand identities (namely, AB Enzymes; ABITEC Corporation; Ohly; PGP International; and SPI Pharma).

SPI Pharma aims to be a supplier of formulation solutions to pharmaceutical formulators. This is achieved by engineering functional materials that enable customers to solve formulation problems, achieve differentiation and gain speed to market.

SPI Pharma’s products include antacid actives, directly compressible calcium powders, functional excipients, drug delivery systems, taste-masked actives, and vaccine adjuvants.
