DAIDO CHEMICAL CORPORATION

Daido Chemical Corporation was founded in 1945 and commercialized the first vinyl acetate emulsion made in Japan in 1946. Since then, it has primarily offered acrylic polymer products such as adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives and paint resins for construction, automobile and other industrial applications, as well as information technology performance materials. In 2012, a Life Science division was created to manufacture and market pharmaceutical excipients and cosmetic ingredients, drawing on its polymer synthesis technologies accumulated over the years.
