Kyowa Chemical is a Japanese company that was founded in 1947 to produce and market magnesium oxide for the pharmaceutical industry. It is one of the world’s largest producer of magnesium compounds and offers a wide range of pharmaceutical excipients and APIs based on aluminium, magnesium and calcium. Kisuma Chemicals, a subsidiary of Kyowa Chemicals, manufactures synthetic magnesium compounds in Veendam, the Netherlands.
