Paracetamol (also known as Acetaminophen) is N-Acetyl-para-aminophenol, a synthetic chemical compound produced by acetylation of 4-aminophenol using acetic acid. It exhibits antipyretic and moderate anti-inflammatory effects. Paracetamol is supplied as a colourless crystalline or white or almost white granular powder.
