Sasol is an international integrated chemicals and energy company that was established in 1950 in South Africa and remains one of the country’s largest investors in capital projects, skills development and technological research and development. One of these business units is Sasol Performance Chemicals, which develops and markets a broad portfolio of organic and inorganic commodity and specialty chemicals. Sasol Performance Chemicals maintains offices in 18 countries and serves customers with a multifaceted portfolio of chemical products and solutions for a wide range of applications and industries, including surfactants, surfactant intermediates, fatty alcohols, linear alkyl benzene (LAB), short-chain linear alpha olefins, mineral oil-based and synthetic paraffin waxes, high-purity and ultra-high-purity alumina as well as high-quality carbon solutions.
